Can Peter dance?
Or is he a danger on the dance floor? Consider the evidence: Peter
was once a member of a clog dancing team. Peter says his teenage
idol — the man he tried to pattern himself after — was
Mr. Saturday Night Fever himself, John Travolta, the popularizer
of disco, white suits, bell bottoms and platform shoes that were
all the rage in the late '70s. (And come to think of it, they're
back in style again...)
Viewers of Soldier, Soldier know that Peter can jitterbug
with the best of them — even when his partner is another man!
Peter says about dancing: "I love to dance, particularly alone
when I can completely lose myself in the hypnotics of movement and
music." What a picture that evokes!
One unlucky (or is that lucky?!) fan on a past Highlander cruise
got to experience Peter's version of slam dancing when — no
doubt lost in the hypnotics of movement and music — Peter bumped
her on the dance floor and didn't even realize it (at least, he
didn't stop and apologize).
