From a young age, Peter Wingfield always wanted to be... a doctor.
The young medical student left St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical
College just before taking the Boards and turned his attention to
acting. He attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London,
from where he graduated in 1990. He made his television debut in
the 1991 production of Antonia and Jane, and soon followed
that performance with several leading roles for BBC television.
A native of Cardiff, Wales, Mr. Wingfield is probably best known
"Across the Pond" for playing Methos (a.k.a. Adam Pierson) on the
syndicated Highlander: The Series. Most recently, he appeared
as Simon Ross in the Vancouver-based crime drama Cold Squad.
An accomplished athlete and musician, Mr. Wingfield currently lives
in Vancouver with his wife Carolyn.
